Cognitive Domain Research Unit
The international research activities of École Universitaire Internationale on the Cognitive Domain cover the entire spectrum of the 6th Cognitive Domain and its reference areas of prediction, innovation, research, operational applications and classified research according to NATO doctrine, with particular attention to all the aspects and the scientific foundations highlighted by the very recent (2026) NATO Chief Scientist Research Report.

École Universitaire Internationale is the only institution at European level to have created and developed the international training programmes for the EU – under the aegis of the European and Defence Security College – on precisely those subjects that NATO regards as key to the Cognitive Domain and to Cognitive Warfare (CW) – that is to say PsyOps and Info-Ops – and that the EU and the Italian Defence General Staff regard as priorities, and to have been entrusted with training in Strategic Communication and Crisis Communication by CEPOL as well – the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training.
