Information notice on the processing of personal data pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003 (the so-called “Privacy Code”) INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA PURSUANT TO ART. 13 OF LEGISLATIVE DECREE NO. 196 OF 30 JUNE 2003 (THE SO-CALLED “PRIVACY CODE”) When the website of École Universitaire Internationale www.ecoleuniversitaireinternationale.education is consulted, personal data relating to identified or identifiable persons (“Data”) may be collected. This information notice on the processing of personal data is provided solely in relation to the data collected through the site and in connection with the provision of services by Ecole Universitaire Internationale, and not for any other websites consulted and/or that may be consulted through links and/or widgets (e.g. social networks): these further websites will process the data as independent controllers and in accordance with their respective notices, which users are expressly recommended to consult. DATA CONTROLLER: the data controller is EUI HUB srl, with registered office in Rome, Via XX Settembre 118 (owner of the trade mark École Universitaire Internationale) PURPOSES OF THE PROCESSING: Contact Subject to the consent of the data subject, the data collected through the completion of the contact form (first name and surname, email address) will be used in order to send communications of an informative and disseminative nature. Providing this data is necessary in order to contact École Universitaire Internationale. The data subject may at any time delete the data they have provided, by sending a specific communication to École Universitaire Internationale. Browsing data When the site is consulted and used, data may be collected in anonymous and aggregate form, such as (by way of example) the IP addresses of users’ computers, the browser used, the pages visited as well as the date, the time and the duration of the connection to the site. The transmission of such data is related to and inherent in the use of the communication protocols of the internet. This data is used for the sole purpose of ensuring the correct functioning of the site and of obtaining statistical, aggregate and anonymous information on the use of the site by users. Browsing data will not be used to identify the users of the site. Web beacons Web beacons (also called “clear GIF” – Graphics Interchange Format – or “pixel tag”) are small strings of HTML code. École Universitaire Internationale may insert web beacons into its newsletters in order to collect data in anonymous and aggregate form, such as (by way of example) the IP addresses of the data subjects’ computers, the browser used, the moment at which the newsletter was opened and the news items consulted. This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining statistical, aggregate and anonymous information on how well the newsletters are received and in order to improve the related service. METHODS OF PROCESSING: The data will be processed by manual and electronic means by staff and collaborators of École Universitaire Internationale and/or by external parties duly designated as data processors and as persons authorised to carry out the processing, to whom École Universitaire Internationale has issued detailed operating instructions with particular reference to the adoption of the minimum security measures prescribed by the Privacy Code. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT: In accordance with art. 7 of the Privacy Code, you may exercise the following rights at any time: obtain confirmation as to whether or not data concerning you exists; require the updating, rectification or integration of the data, as well as the erasure, the conversion into anonymous form or the blocking of data processed in breach of the law; object, in whole or in part, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of your data. Requests to exercise the rights set out above must be sent to one of the following addresses: – by email, to the email address: [email protected] – by registered post with return receipt, to École Universitaire Internationale – Roma, Via XX Settembre 118.

COOKIE POLICY: Cookies are small text strings that the sites visited by the user send to the browser on the user’s own device, where they are stored so as to be retransmitted to those same sites on that user’s next visit. They are not used for any further purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or operator of the website. They can be divided into browsing or session cookies, which guarantee the normal browsing and use of the website (allowing, for example, a purchase to be made or authentication in order to access restricted areas); and analytics cookies, treated as technical cookies where they are used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and on how they visit the site. The prior consent of users is not required for the installation of such cookies.

  • profiling cookies: these are intended to create profiles relating to the user and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by that user while browsing online.

The Website does not directly collect this type of cookie.

  • third-party cookies: these cookies make it possible to create an anonymous profile of users on the basis of their browsing experience on this and all the other sites. These cookies are not managed by us and go under the name of third-party cookies.

The third-party cookies collected through the Site are cookies with statistical purposes, in particular through Google Analytics, which is a web analytics service provided by Google. Google uses the Data collected in order to track and examine the use of this Site, compile reports and share them with the other services developed by Google. École Universitaire Internationale undertakes to protect the privacy of its users and to safeguard the personal data collected in compliance with the new “Personal Data Protection Code” pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/03.

On the basis of EU Regulation 2016/679 on the Protection of Personal Data (GDPR), in force since 25/05/2018, the data is used exclusively for ordinary activities. This data will not be shared, sold, let or hired out to third parties.
