École Universitaire Internationale is a Training Framework Partner Institute of CEPOL -“The European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training”- under the aegis of the National Unit based at the Ministry of the Interior - Scuola di Perfezionamento per le Forze di Polizia. Precisely because of the high quality of its education, École Universitaire Internationale is the 1st Institute in the European ranking for international and operational training in Hostage Negotiation and Strategic Communication in crisis situations.
École Universitaire Internationale is a Network Member Institute of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), a body established within the European External Action Service of the European Union (EEAS). In Italy its activities come under the aegis of CASD - Ministry of Defence. Over the years École Universitaire Internationale has made educational contributions of the greatest strategic importance for Defence and Security.
École Universitaire Internationale is the only Italian body recognised as an institutional member of IAFIE – International Association For Intelligence Education – (as the sole representative for Italy), an international Organisation that brings together governmental and non-governmental Institutes, military and Intelligence Academies engaged in Intelligence education to international institutional standard;

The research institute is registered in Italy with the Anagrafe Nazionale delle Ricerche, a body of the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, which admits and registers the research institutes deemed suitable to carry out research activities and, where applicable, to apply for public funding for their own research; École Universitaire Internationale, although entitled to do so, does not make use of public funding for its own research. The Institute is also authorised to carry out research activities in the medical field.
École Universitaire Internationale is already a partner of the Peace Operations Training Institute U.S.A. for the award of the Certification known as COTIPSO Certificate of Training in United Nations Peace Support Operations, the training of Peace Operators.
