A two-day full-immersion course in Hostage Negotiation in urban and terrorist settings, in which the theme of hostage negotiation and of operational negotiation in various scenarios will be addressed, together with a closer study of global strategy.
A practical and operational course whose purpose is to teach, through new applied methodologies, negotiation in the event of hostage-taking, how to behave in the event of a kidnapping and how to manage its phases; to understand and analyse the behaviour of the human being when held hostage for short or long periods.
A specific focus will be devoted to negotiation in the field of terrorism, with regard to crises that may take place in environments frequented by large numbers of people, such as theatres, supermarkets, railway stations, maritime stations, etc... as well as to hostage situations involving barricades and to hostage-taking carried out by non-criminal individuals as well.
The course is taught by personnel who already lecture on the subject at international level.
