A three-day full-immersion course in hostage negotiation including exercises and simulations, in which the theme of hostage negotiation and of operational negotiation in various scenarios will be addressed.
A practical and operational course whose purpose is to teach, through new applied methodologies, negotiation in the event of hostage-taking, how to behave in the event of a kidnapping and how to manage its phases; to understand and analyse the behaviour of the human being when held hostage for short or long periods, and strategic and intelligence management in hostage negotiation.
This is the only course in Italy in the field of applied strategic negotiation with a specific focus on possible terrorist attacks that may take place in environments frequented by large numbers of people, such as theatres, supermarkets, railway stations, maritime stations, etc... as well as on hostage situations involving barricades and on hostage-taking carried out by non-criminal individuals as well.
The course is taught by personnel of the Special Forces, by personnel working at international level and by personnel who already lecture on the subject at international level, assisted by medical personnel.
