The training day for police officers devoted to the theme “Terrorism and Intelligence: the role of women in the Islamic world” featured contributions from:
- – senior officers of the Counter-Terrorism branch of the Polizia di Stato – Direzione Centrale Polizia di Prevenzione (DCPP)
- – senior officers of the Central Directorate for Immigration and Border Police
- – senior officials of the Ministry of Justice and of the district prisons
– officers of the Polizia di Stato engaged in countering international terrorism.
Prof. Sabrina Magris, president of École Universitaire Internationale, was invited to give a technical address on Operational Counter-Terrorism, with particular reference to the role of women terrorists and to Intelligence activities, a subject considered of the highest priority by Europol as well.
