It was held in Italy for the first time. École Universitaire Internationale was the body that organised the event.

Institutional opening in the presence of the UNDERSECRETARY OF STATE FOR DEFENCE, a delegation of the European Parliament, a delegation of the Italian Parliament and Local Authorities.

Among the distinguished guests, General Michelle McGuiness,

second in command of US Military Intelligence (US, Defense Intelligence Agency)

and the Director of the European Union Intelligence Centre Josè Casimiro Morgado.

The Government delegations present described the formula of the conference as innovative and as the most useful for strengthening relations and links between the various Intelligence Services.

– 150 Executives and Operators from Intelligence Agencies, Intelligence Academies, Military Academies and the most prestigious Universities that work with the Services and the Intelligence agencies.

– 21 European States and non-European States including Israel, USA, UK, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Australia.

Among the main subjects discussed:

How to improve Intelligence education and training;
Neuroscience applied to Intelligence and the enhancement of the operator brain capacities;
The new recruitment methods;
The challenges of Strategic Intelligence and strategic assets;
How to understand what is happening in the world and how to explain it to political decision-makers;
