For the first time, Italian lecturers gave a lesson to the more than three thousand participants in the International Congress on violence, sexual violence and gender bias – April 2018 – Chicago (USA).

They are Prof. SABRINA MAGRIS, President of École Universitaire Internationale, and Prof. MARTINA GRASSI, head of international activities.

They also presented the training, information and prevention projects that have been and will be carried out in Italy by École Universitaire Internationale.

The results of two new research projects were also presented, selected from among the thousands submitted from all over the world; this too is a first, as never in the history of the International Congress had two research projects out of thirteen world finalists been selected from one and the same institute or body.

The research on new medical-forensic methodologies for detecting the intake of drugs without invasive tests, based on the ‘memory of the

teeth’ (How to improve evidence collection in sexual assault perpetrated with the use of ghb-gbl. New methodology to overcome the time issue in detecting ghb-gbl)was awarded the third research prize.

The research on biases and neuronal transmission (What is biased can be unbiased: the neurological process of identification and elimination of biases held by professionals and victims. Study conducted using subject s brain mapping to evaluate biases caused by trauma, culture or education) was awarded an honourable mention and an offer of publication in the United States of America.
